Presentation of the trcman research art group and their first self-publication (samizdat) dedicated to the history of Kazakh alphabets was performed by Zhanar Bereketova, an artist and designer. Aslanbek Kazbekov Serikuly, a language activist, conducted a master class on Arabic script, and independent researcher Artyom Slyota shared information about the meaning of the art group name and theoretical approaches they would use.

Trcman is a research art group. The geography of the group's research interests does not fit into the generally accepted national and geopolitical boundaries and includes Central and North Asia, the Volga region, the Urals and the Caucasus.
