The exhibition displays 15 photographs and an audio installation, created in collaboration with Alyssa Chetrick, a violinist and composer. This series explores representations of masculinity and examines the scars left by intergenerational trauma in patriarchal societies. The artist interviews young people in the United States and Kazakhstan, demonstrating vulnerable feels of shame, despair, loneliness and fear.

Alina Bobrova is a photographer and multidisciplinary artist working in New York and Almaty. Bobrova's artistic practice spans a wide range of media including photography, video art, sculpture, scenery, poetry, performances and printmaking.
